Canada donates 5 million doses of A(H1N1) vaccines to WHO | USA News

CANADA–After lending Mexico five million doses of Influenza A (H1N1) vaccines, Canada will donate another five million doses to the World Health Organization. The five million donation is already the excess from Ottawa’s original order from GlaxoSmithKline of 50.4 million swine flu vaccine shots. The large amount of excess immunization shots is because most Canadians who had the H1N1 vaccine received only one dose, instead of two as originally expected. …
